This site collects articles and essays from various sources on the state of the political economy.  Although we seek to represent world affairs most of the news we have been covering lately is centered around America.  With the 'election' of Donald Trump, we believe American politics has entered a new stage.  No longer bound by the truth the President is at liberty to say what he wills and he has a base that believes him regardless.  In America, the President--apparently--is not required to tell the truth.  He can make-up things as he goes.  What effect will this have on the future of American politics?

The reason we focus so much on American politics is because the U.S. is a global empire, but its economic power is waning.  This site will hopefully catch debates, concerns, policy discussions, etc. that can be later used for historical purposes.

Another one of our missions is to present a free database for historians.  Today, databases are expensive, leaving independent scholars 'out in the cold.'  This site seeks to remedy that situation.
