Leonard Cohen's poetry and music--for me anyway--bring me to the edge where words begin to fail and all that is left is silence, meditation, longing.  His writings bring me to impenetrable boundary where visual art takes on the burden expression, left carrying the torch, bearing the weight of ineffable beauty and inexplicable longing.
